Tools, batteries, flashlights, extension cords, lightbulbs, cleaning supplies, a sewing kit, first aid kit, bathroom essentials, fire extinguishers, and evacuation information are in the hall closet

IRON & STEAMER 
- Main house: Iron and ironing board in the primary bedroom closet; iron and handheld steamer in the hall closet
- Guest cottage: Iron, handheld steamer, and tabletop ironing board

SAFE BOX
A digital hotel-style safe is located in the primary bedroom closet. You can set your own 4–6 digit code

- To lock: Enter your chosen code, close the door, and press LOCK. The display should read “closed”
- To unlock: Enter the same code. The display should read “opened.”

SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, & BODY WASH
Premium Kiehl’s products are in every bathroom

SONOS SPEAKER & ALEXA
The Sonos speaker has Amazon Alexa built in

- To get started: Enable the microphone using the button on top of the speaker
- Try saying: “Alexa, play chill music” or “Alexa, stop music”
- To disable Alexa: Press the microphone button to turn it off

Please leave the speaker in place and do not move it outdoors or play music outside. Outdoor music and amplified sound are prohibited

TELEVISION
The Samsung Smart TV connects to the internet and supports streaming services, including Netflix and on-demand entertainment. Please use your own accounts and remember to log out before checkout.

TOWELS
Extra bath and pool towels are in the baskets inside the cube shelving in the primary bedroom closet

TRASH & RECYLING
Trash bags are in the cabinet near the dishwasher. Bins are located behind the fence on the side of the house.

Please note: There are no garbage disposals

WASHER & DRYER
Please use the washer and dryer sparingly to protect our septic system. HE liquid detergent only, please

Guests not renting the guest cottage must arrange access to the laundry facilities. Nearby laundry services are also available

THERMOSTATS & COMFORT
We follow Pacific Gas & Electric recommendations for safety, energy efficiency, and comfort
- Nest thermostats are preset to a maximum of 72°F for heating and 75°F for cooling
- When the home is unoccupied, thermostats automatically switch to Eco mode

SUMMER COOLING
Sonoma summer days average around 87°F, while evenings can cool to 52°F
- During the day: Keep windows and doors closed and lower the shades to keep the heat out
- Evenings & mornings: Open windows to enjoy the cool air
