COFFEE MAKER
A De'Longhi digital combination coffee and espresso machine, filters, and electric burr coffee grinder are available. To see where to pour water into the coffee side of the machine, click here.

HAIR DRYERS
Rusk 2000 watt hair dryers are in all bathrooms.

HARDWARE & SUPPLIES
Tools, extension cords, batteries, flashlights, lightbulbs, cleaning supplies, sewing kit, and fire extinguisher are in the hall closet. 

IRON, IRONING BOARD, & STEAMER 
There is an iron and ironing board in the primary bedroom closet. There is a handheld steamer and iron in the hall closet. The guest cottage has an iron, handheld steamer, and tabletop ironing board. 

SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, & BODY WASH
Premium Kiehl’s products are in every bathroom.

TOWELS
Additional bath and pool towels are in the primary bedroom closet (inside the cube shelving baskets).

TRASH BAGS, GARBAGE BINS, & DISPOSAL
Trash bags are in the cabinet near the dishwasher. Bins are here on the side of the house, behind the fence. There are no garbage disposals.

WASHER & DRYER
Please use sparingly. The home is on a septic system and excessive laundry is not allowed. Use only HE liquid detergent. Off-season guests not renting the guest cottage need to ask for a code to access the washer & dryer. If needed, laundry services are available nearby.

Heat & AC

We follow PG&E recommendations for safety, energy efficiency, and comfort
- Nest thermostats are locked. Heat is adjustable to 72° and AC to 75°
- Nest thermostats automatically switch to the eco mode when no one is at home
- Please reach out if needed, I want to ensure you’re comfortable during your stay

SUMMER COOLING TIPS
Daytime temperatures average a warm 87° while evenings average a cool 52°
- During the day, close all doors and windows and lower shades to block the sun
- At night and in the mornings, open the windows to let cool air flow into the home

tv & sonos

TELEVISION
A Samsung Smart TV is available with a broad range of 125+ Xfinity cable channels. The TV has built-in Internet connectivity allowing access to a range of online services including Netflix, and on-demand video and music.

SONOS SPEAKER WITH ALEXA
Amazon Alexa is built into the Sonos speaker. Download the Sonos app to play songs, check news, and weather with your voice. Turn on the microphone button on the top of the speaker. Try saying "Alexa, play chill music", "Alexa, stop music". Alexa is listening; to disable this feature, simply turn off the microphone by tapping the microphone button. Do not move the speaker or play music outdoors. Sonoma County prohibits ALL music & amplified sound outdoors.

OUTDOORS

BBQ GRILL & PROPANE GAS TANK
A lighter is needed to light the grill. If the lighter is not on the grill, you can find one in a kitchen drawer or the hall closet. Extra propane tanks are in the cabinet below the outdoor wine rack.

FIREPLACE
NO FIRES ALLOWED. EVER. 
To help prevent wildfires, Sonoma County strictly prohibits any fire hazards. Using the fireplaces or burning any materials (including candles) indoors or out is not allowed. Thank you for doing your part to keep Wine Country safe.

LANDSCAPE LIGHTS & FOUNTAINS
Landscape lighting and fountains are scheduled to turn off at 10pm. Please uphold Sonoma County quiet hours and eliminate outdoor activities after 9pm.

MUSIC
NO MUSIC ALLOWED OUTSIDE. EVER. 

Sonoma County strictly prohibits any outdoor music or amplified sound at ALL vacation rental properties. No music is allowed outside at any time, including music coming from inside that can be heard at the property line. Playing any music outdoors will alert neighbors and local authorities. Violations are subject to guest eviction and fines. 

STRING LIGHTS
The light switch for the outdoor overhead string lights is near the kitchen sink. Please shut lights off when not in use.

UMBRELLAS
Open only when needed. Umbrellas should be closed if windy and every night. Please review video for operating instructions.

POOL & SPA

POOL
A life preserver and pool skimmer net are on the fence near the deep end of the pool. The pool vac-sweep and floating dispenser are to be left in the pool at ALL times. The pool light switch is located on the 4x4 post near the hot tub. Do not touch the heater/filtering system inside the fenced area. For a visual summary of the pool equipment click here.

SPA [HOT TUB]
To turn on the hot tub
- Locate the 4x4 post near the hot tub
- Carefully open the control box plastic cover
- Press the button to activate the heat and jets
- Wait a few minutes and the jets and heater will automatically be activated
- After one hour the hot tub will stop. If more time is desired, press the button again for another hour

To turn off the hot tub
- Press the button

Note
- Depending on the time of year, the hot tub will heat in 30-40 minutes
- We follow US Consumer Product Safety Commission recommendations and set temperatures in the 100°-102° range

GUEST SAFETY

The home is equipped with smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, emergency radio, flashlights, first aid kits, pool life preserver, and home security system. ALARM
Disarm
To disarm the system enter your assigned four-digit code then press 1 (OFF button).

Away mode
Arms main house and guest cottage perimeters along with interior motion sensor. To arm in “away” mode enter your assigned four-digit code then press 2 (AWAY button).

Stay mode
Arms the main house and guest cottage perimeters. To arm in “stay” mode enter your assigned four-digit code then press 3 (STAY button).

EMERGENCY EVACUATION
Supplies include Bullhorn, Emergency Radio, Emergency Whistles, Fire Blanket, Fire Poncho, Fire Extinguisher, Fire Zone Map and Evacuation Instructions, First Aid Kit, Flashlights, Batteries, along with a VOIP phone.

ENHANCED CLEANING
Cleaning supplies, disinfectants, sanitizers, disposable gloves, and face masks are in the hall closet along with a digital infrared forehead thermometer.

FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
Fire extinguishers are under the sinks in the kitchen and guest cottage beverage center. There is another in the hall closet. There are two in the BBQ area, one is mounted to the guest cottage wall and another is under the outdoor bar.

FIRST AID KITS
First aid kits are in the hall closet and guest cottage bathroom.

SAFE
The primary bedroom closet has a Steel Security Safe Box featuring a customizable hotel-style digital electronic lock.

To close
Set any 4-6 digit code, then close the door and press the LOCK button. The screen will then display “closed”.

To open
Enter the same code and the door will unlock. The screen will then display “opened”.
